Bird Feeder craft for kids step-by-step
-
1
Cut SMARTIES® Tube in half.
-
2
Measure and mark 2cm from each end of the tube, and repeat on the opposite side of the tube.
-
3
Use a sharp pencil to punch through the tube at each marked point.
-
4
Carefully push the wooden skewer through the holes near the closed end of the tube.
-
5
Carefully cut the skewer at approximately 10cm, also removing the sharp point.
-
6
Thread garden twine through the holes at the top and tie a knot.
-
7
Now it's time to cover the tube in peanut butter.
-
8
Press the bird feeder into a dish of bird seed, covering the whole surface in seeds. Make sure to press the seeds into the peanut butter so it doesn’t fall off once hanging outside.

Now it's time to choose the right place in your garden to hang your bird feeders!
