SMARTIES® Pancake Recipe in Easy Steps
-
1
In a large bowl, gently whisk the flour and baking powder together.
-
2
Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture and break the egg into it.
-
3
Pour in half the milk then whisk the ingredients together. Add the remaining milk and continue to whisk until combined.
-
4
Carefully heat a large non-stick frying pan over a medium heat and coat the pan with the coconut oil.
-
5
Place a heaped tablespoon of batter into the pan. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface then flip and cook the other side until golden. Repeat until you have 16 pancakes.
-
6
Now to decorate! Cut banana and strawberries thinly and start by adding 2 slices of banana to the top of the pancake to start creating the ‘eyes’.
-
7
Add 2 SMARTIES® Milk Chocolate Buttons on top of banana. Then place 1 SMARTIES® in the middle to create the ‘nose’.
-
8
Add 2 strawberry slices just below the banana to create the ‘wings’ of the owl.
-
9
Finish off by adding blueberries and SMARTIES® around the edge of the plate.
